The carpet depicts the functioning human control system. A person is a representative of the system he created himself. The system is shown as dancing devils. Throughout the carpet we see multicolored repeated patterns of male and female devils. In the right lower corner, there is one light colored two headed devil, who tries to crash the system. It is a luminous force in the dark system. Symbolically, it gives us hope that the system can be changed. It is trying to kick out one of the devils out of the system, and get out of it itself. The carpet main border is filled with patterns depicting ordinary people and scenes of everyday life: people doing their chores, carrying their loads, etc. This polarizes the centuries-old traditions of the system and the simple life of common people, simply trying to earn their bread and butter and live with dignity. An ordinary person is both connected and unconnected with the system. People try to live their lives, while the system works against them. A single person is powerless against an enormous machine called the system.
